That’s right! That’s what happened in 2014 when a Mauritian (Hi! My name is Allan!) and a Belgian (Nice to meet you; I’m Heidi!) bumped into each other at a local bar in Mauritius and started dreaming.
Heidi, entranced by the lush, vibrant landscape and the warm, welcoming spirit of the Mauritians she’d met, and Allan – proud of his rich heritage and brimming with expertise about his home instantly knew that they wanted others to experience authentic Mauritius.
Local Spirit gives you a glimpse of how to savour life’s wonder all year ‘round.
And that’s why we invite you to immerse yourself in the ‘real Mauritius’. Soak up the sun on our white beaches and let the tranquil cerulean blue of the ocean sweep you away, but… don’t stop there!
